A well-known Plant Company is seeking a Plant Fitter for a 2-year project at Sizewell C.
The position involves fitting and maintenance of equipment from major manufacturers like Caterpillar and JCB.
Candidates should have experience in overhauling engines, electrical and hydraulic fault finding, and using hand and power tools.
The role offers a salary of £55,000 plus bonuses, a vehicle, and a fuel card, with additional PAYE benefits including sick pay and pension.
The job requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in plant fitting or a similar field.

I am currently working with a well renound Plant Company who are looking for a Plant Fitter to work on a 2 year project at Sizewell C.

You will be doing a variety of fitting and maintenance on equipment from some of the biggest manufacturers such as Caterpillar, Hitachi, Liebherr, JCB and others.

The role:

General fitting and maintenance on plant and equipment
Servicing plant and equipment.
Ability to overhaul / rebuild engines and gearboxes etc
Electrical fault finding and repairs
Hydraulic fault finding and repairs
Identifying parts required to complete repairs
Fitting attachments to plant
Checking and Inspecting equipment
Examinations of equipment
Testing plant and equipment
Use of hand tool and power tools
Carry out small welding repairs

The role:

Hours: 47.5 + overtime at 1.5x
Salary: 55k + bonus + vehicle + fuel card
