Job Purpose: My client is seeking a Sales and Reservations Consultant to provide exceptional customer service and drive sales for a variety of holidays across the world. This role is crucial for the business in increasing revenue and ensuring client satisfaction.

This is a Hybrid role workings three days a week in the office and two days at home (Monday and Friday). You will also be required to work the occasional Saturday morning from home. It is essential for this role that you are driver as this role is based in a beautiful rural location, without any public transport links.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer expert advice to customers to help them choose the perfect holiday.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets through effective selling techniques.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer service.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries via web/live chat.
  • Proactively follow up on leads and make outbound calls.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to bookings, such as arranging flights.
  • Share product knowledge with clients and team members.
  • Collaborate with Tour Leaders and other stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates to clients on outstanding queries.
  • Participate in educational trips and trade shows as needed.

Skills and Experience:

  • Sales experience, preferably in the travel industry but not essential.
  • Strong customer service skills and a drive to succeed.
  • Professional and pleasant telephone manner.
  • Passion for travel.
  • Consultative and empathetic approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
