  • The salary for this position is competitive, and the role offers 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, along with additional benefits.
  • While previous office experience is preferred, a minimum of 2 years in a similar role is required to succeed in this position.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Administrator to join the Operations team based at our site in Pembridge, Herefordshire on a full time permanent basis. You will need to have strong experience in the use of Excel and SharePoint.  

Main Responsibilities: 

As the Operations Administrator you will be providing support to the Operations team by creating and generating management reports, updating site KPI’s and trackers, raising and booking in purchase requisitions, creating and distributing of the shopfloor team brief. You will also be updating site visual management, auditing of site systems and areas, following up on documentation, actions, and tracking of site involvement.  

Other Responsibilities of our Operations Administrator

  • Create and update site safety and 5S signage for the shopfloor
  • Monthly population of energy data capture spreadsheets
  • Updating the rolling screens for the strategic pillars wall using app space
  • Auditing systems, HSE critical tasks and operational metrics
  • Co-ordinate with management and team members to develop CI activities 
  • Offer suggestions to changes in production methods / equipment used for improvements to the quality of product and/or service to customer.
  • To operate formally within the Kingspan Insulation MS and follow relevant procedures.
  • Recommend and provide further training where necessary

What we are looking for in our Operations Administrator:

You will have:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Experience of working with various IT programs i.e. MS Word, Excel
  • Be a good team player with a “Can do attitude”
  • Able to act quickly when problems arise

Whilst not essential, the following would be of benefit:

  • Full driving licence
  • Good general level of education
  • A professional qualification within the Business & Administration field (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working in an office environment.
  • Basic understanding SAP technology
