This role will need an experienced Planner/Scheduler who can bring organisation & good knowledge of planning systems for the next 1-2 years of manufacturing.
There will be a flexible nature to this position with the potential for hybrid working.
Role: Production Planner
Salary: up to 37,000 per annum + benefits
Location: Leominster (hybrid working 3 days in the office 2 at home)
The key responsibilities for the Production Planner are:-
- Working closely with all internal stakeholders to develop and maintain scheduling procedures and processes from Engineering, Sales, Production etc.
- Strategic & Analytical approach to planning
- Co-ordinating with Procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials & components
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity & quality
- Prepare & present reports on Engineering, Production & facilities performance as well as capacity to management
- Having the ability to plan 1-2 years ahead of schedule
The key requirements for the Production Planner will be:-
- Proven track record of success in Scheduling & planning in a Manufacturing Environment
- Good Internal/external communicator who is able to work with all departments
- Strong knowledge of Planning Software - Liquid Planner/Primavera planning software (ideally)
- Strategic/Analytical head
