Maintenance Engineer

Salary:c£45,000 + Overtime and Benefits

Location:Leominster

Shifts: Days only - Monday to Friday - 12 Hours

Our client is one of the biggest building materials companies in the UK. They are currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join the team in the Leominster Area. The Maintenance Engineer will be support a number of teams across the site. Due to the nature of the business some work will be outside, even during winter months.

The successful Maintenance Engineer will:

  • Plan and complete the repair and maintenance of all fixed plant and mobile machinery
  • Complete PPM's
  • Complete relevant paperwork - Risk assessments etc.
  • Attend emergency breakdowns

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise required

  • Completed a recognized Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship.
  • Essential experience working on heavy plant, fixed and/or mobile.
  • Ability to Weld both Arc & Mig would be an advantage
