As a Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with a dedicated small team on a diverse portfolio of projects including residential developments, commercial schemes, new builds, and refurbishment works. Project values range from £250K to over £4M, and you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact across Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Shropshire, and Gloucestershire.

Quantity Surveyor Job Overview
  • Spearheading the commercial management of projects from initial estimation through to successful final delivery.
  • Safeguarding the financial integrity and boosting the profitability of each assigned contract.
  • Cultivating robust relationships with clients and key supply chain partners.
  • Overseeing subcontractor appointments, managing valuations, and ensuring timely payments in strict accordance with contractual terms.
  • Delivering comprehensive monthly CVRs and detailed financial reports to accounts and directors.
  • Guaranteeing contractual compliance by issuing timely notices and managing obligations with precision.
  • Evaluating and preparing detailed estimates for contract variations and change orders.
  • Providing expert commercial guidance to project teams on contract adherence, risk mitigation, and financial strategy.
  • Coordinating and finalising interim valuations and final account settlements.
  • Optimising project cash flow and external value to drive maximum profitability.
Quantity Surveyor Job Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 years Quantity Surveying experience
  • Hold relevant qualification, HNC, degree etc.
  • Full driving licence
  • Willing to commute to Leominster
