Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and delivery of audits for various clients, including SMEs, charities and other entities
  • Perform audit testing and gather evidence to support findings whilst working with senior auditors
  • Prepare and review audit documentation, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and firm policies
  • Identify and communicate audit issues and findings to senior team members
  • Participate in client meetings and communicate effectively with clients to gather information and address queries
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit reports
  • Maintain accurate and organized working papers and audit files
  • Stay updated with changes in auditing standards, accounting regulations, and industry developments
  • Provide support to other departments within the firm as needed

Requirements

  • A Levels graded at a minimum of 3 Bs ( or the equivalent)
  • A keen interest in accountancy
  • No experience is required
