My client is seeking a highly motivated Management Accountant to manage the accounts of their new dealership in Hertfordshire. This role is crucial in delivering financial performance reports and driving business performance.
Day-to-day of the role:- Produce monthly management accounts ensuring accuracy and freedom from material errors.
- Complete full balance sheet reconciliations monthly, addressing any transactions in query or requiring follow-up.
- Manage working capital and follow up on action points promptly with relevant individuals.
- Conduct Day forecasting, communicating any material variances to the GFC.
- Ensure timely completion of re-forecasts and budgets, maintaining accuracy.
- Manage payroll submission and review, ensuring compliance with company and legislative policies.
- Adhere to financial processes and policies.
- Manage, support, and develop an assistant accountant.
- Participate in finance team projects and initiatives, driving process efficiency and sharing best practices.
- Act as a finance business partner to support the operational team and enhance business performance.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Automotive Management Accountant.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage and complete accurate forecasts and budgets.
- Experience in managing and developing staff.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems.
