Our client is a leading manufacturer of specialist HVAC and ventilation plant for the UK plant for the various manufacturing companies and due to their continued success Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of CAD engineer.
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced mechanical engineer with excellent AutoCAD & 3D SolidWorks or Inventor software skills to work closely with the sales and project engineering teams.
Your duties will include but is not limited to the following;
- Produce CAD design drawings from information received from the sales team and project managers
- Drawings may include concept design drawings used for quotation purposes
- Deliver professional 2D & 3d drawings for fabrication purposes
- Attend site visits and assist with site surveys ensuring a good understanding of client design requirements
- Ensure effective and accurate drawing updates, management and control
Candidate:
You will be an experienced CAD design engineer who is competent in 2D and 3D design software, AutoCAD, Inventor and or SolidWorks.
Ideally you will have excellent mechanical engineering knowledge and applicants with a background in heavy engineering, HVAC or fabrication design skills will be beneficial .
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm
