Contek Recruitment are currently working with a leading manufacturing client, who specialise in high quality displays and fixtures for the retail and hospitality sectors, based inLetchworth Garden City. Due to growth, they are now looking for aBrake Press Setter/Operatorto join their team on afull-time, permanentbasis.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Setting and operating Bystronic, Promecam and Mebusa brake press machines.
- Understanding sheet metal work processes and fabrication techniques.
- Understanding of reading technical engineering drawings.
- To set up and operate the brake press machines to achieve maximum output and quality.
- To assist the Metalwork Supervisor to set up the machines and monitor accuracy.
- To check quality and dimensions, stack/label and count parts against the labour paperwork before releasing to other departments.
- To carry out daily operational checks as required, ensure results are visible and report all findings to the Metalwork Supervisor.
- To deliver finished parts to the next user.
Working Hours:Monday to Thurday (08:00 AM until 16:30 PM) and Friday (08:00 AM until 16:00 PM)
