CNC Operator - NIGHT SHIFT
Location: Letchworth
Salary: up to £38,500
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 5pm - 3am (with overtime available - paid at x1.66)
CNC Machinist with Lathe and Mill experience required in Letchworth for the nightshift. You must be experienced in programming, setting and operating.

CNC Machinist - Key Responsibilities:
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawing
- Programming Hurco CNC lathe & Mill using Hurco MAX 5 controls
- Loading and setting machines accordingly to maximise production output
- Ensure all jobs are complete on time and to the desired quality
- Measure parts to ensure they are within specification
- Maintaining safe operations by adhering to safety procedures
- Maintaining equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements
CNC Machinist - Skills and Experience required:
- High attention to detail – work to tight dimensional tolerances
- Has previous experience using Hurco MAX 5 Controls ideally
- Experience in programming, setting and operating CNC lathes & Mills
- Self-motivated and driven
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently without daily supervision
