Contracts Manager - Residential Housebuilder
Location: Hertfordshire/North London
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000

gap construction is excited to be working with a highly respected, bespoke residential housebuilder in their search for a Contracts Manager to join their residential team in Hertfordshire. They've been proud to be building high quality home in Hertfordshire for almost 100 years.

Performance Objectives

  • Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, managing scope, time, cost, quality, and communication.
  • Ensure residential projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with site managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to guarantee client satisfaction and successful project delivery.
  • Lead the tender process, manage supplier negotiations, and ensure contracts align with company policies.
  • Proactively manage risks and resolve issues as they arise throughout the project.
  • Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up to date, and complies with relevant procedures.
  • What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience in managing multiple, complex residential projects simultaneously.
  • Extensive background in the residential construction sector.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with both Operations and Commercial teams.
  • Proficiency in IT and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
