An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Pipework Fitter to join our clients successful team.

What we would like from you:

  • Install, assemble, and fit various types of piping and ducting systems in factory-built Emission control filter systems.
  • Interpret and follow technical drawings, blueprints, and piping layouts to accurately install pipes and connections.
  • Ensure all pipework is installed to meet safety regulations, industry standards, and project requirements.
  • Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipe sections using hand tools, power tools, and machines.
  • Perform leak testing on completed systems to ensure all joints and connections are secure and leak-free.
  • Maintain high standards of quality control and attention to detail throughout the installation process.
  • Work collaboratively with other trades and departments, including technicians and electricians, to ensure smooth assembly of Filter systems.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during installation or assembly of the system.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored and accounted for.
  • Assist with the preparation and modification of pipework to meet specific project requirements as needed.
  • Initially time may need to be spent on site alongside the site installers, to assist in learning the trade
  • Learn ductwork design/ sizing & flows of ductwork in order to take a central role in design of ductwork
  • Manage own task list and prioritise as necessary.
  • Organisation and filing of drawings, as required.
