Goods In Operative – Immediate Start Available
- Location: Letchworth
- Hours: 8-hour shift between 07:00-17:00 (Typical shift: 08:00-17:00), Monday - Friday
- Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Join a growing and dynamic team in a friendly working environment! We are looking for a Goods In Operative to support our warehouse operations and help maintain our reputation for excellent service and reliability.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming stock
- Ensuring deliveries match order specifications and quality standards
- Organizing and storing materials efficiently in the warehouse
- Updating stock records and reporting any discrepancies
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as needed
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Occasional collections and deliveries using company vehicles
- Supporting improvements in warehouse operations
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in a similar warehouse or stock control role (preferred)
- Forklift truck license (desirable but not essential)
- Basic computer skills for stock management
- Good attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Comfortable with manual handling and lifting tasks
- A team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
