We are excited to partner with a leading heavy industrial equipment supplier to recruit a Senior Health and Safety Advisor. This role will be instrumental in driving success by championing health, safety, and environmental initiatives and implementing the best practices across the organisation.
With more than 50,000 employees and a large global footprint, the organisation take safety as its top priority and this role will lead on health and safety across one of their main sites based in Bedfordshire.
Responsibilities for the Senior Health and Safety Advisor will include:
- To promote effective and safe practices throughout the engineering workshop and yard operations at the Bedfordshire site.
- Supporting site teams to help them meet company standards and procedures
- Conduct health, safety and environmental site audits and develop subsequent improvement plans.
- Supporting the development and improvement of the ISO management systems.
The successful Senior Health and Safety Advisor will have:
- Proven experience in a similar role within construction, agricultural, heavy machinery or a related industry
- NEBOSH certificate or equivalent and ideally membership of a relevant professional body (i.e. IOSH)
- An enthusiastic and positive approach to health and safety
