Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Nurse looking to take the next step up in your career? Pulse is working alongside a charitable hospice in Hertfordshire to recruit a Senior Nurse to support and motivate the Nursing team on a 12-bed Inpatient Unit (IPU). Their low patient-to-nurse ratio allows nurses to provide the highest standards of individualized care to enhance the quality of life for patients and their carers/families.

This is no ordinary Hospice, with specialists in a wide range of areas - serving the community of North Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas. Role Responsibilities:

  • Support the Inpatient Unit team in ensuring optimum care standards for patients and their families
  • Oversee and support nurses, APs, NAs, HCA’s, and student nurses to deliver direct and indirect care
  • Demonstrate compassion and a good understanding of the needs of patients living with life-limiting illness and their loved ones
