Our client is a well-established IT services provider delivering high-quality technical support to businesses. They are looking for a Site-Based IT Support Engineer to join their team, providing hands-on support and ensuring smooth IT operations at customer sites.
The RoleAs a Site-Based IT Support Engineer, you will be the face of IT support, ensuring excellent customer service while resolving technical issues efficiently. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing physical faults on PCs and laptops while maintaining accurate records of repairs and inventory. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities? Diagnose and repair physical faults on PCs and laptops on-site? Order replacement parts using the client's online portal? Maintain accurate repair and inventory records? Ensure all customer deliverables are completed and recorded correctly? Adhere to all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures? Maintain confidentiality of internal and external information? Complete all required training and certifications
Skills & Experience? Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)? Strong IT skills, including experience with Microsoft Office packages? Ability to work independently to troubleshoot and resolve issues? Team player with strong relationship-building skills? Good time management and flexibility to adapt to varied hours if needed? Previous customer service experience in an IT service environment is a plus? Lenovo AWSP certification is desirable but not essential (full training provided)
