Our client who is an established, independent general insurance broker is looking for a Part-Time Personal Lines Insurance Administrator to join their team in their Hertfordshire, SG6 office. The purpose of the role is to service the insurance needs of existing customers, providing quality customer care, ensuring that documents are obtained and despatched promptly, and all issues raised by the client are effectively dealt with.

Main Duties:

  • Liaise as necessary with insurers in relation to client's policies
  • To actively discuss additional products, cover and services that the client needs and wants
  • Client files up to date, tidy and in keeping with company guidelines
  • Work within applicable delegated U/W authorities

Skills Required:

  • 1 years + experience within an insurance related role
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Comfortable with IT systems, knowledge of Open Gi would be a bonus.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Able to use initiative.
