The Role:
As the Operations Team Manager, you will oversee a small but dedicated team across customer service and warehouse functions. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing efficiency, improving processes, and ensuring exceptional service, allowing the business owners to focus on strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and support the customer service and operations/warehouse teams to ensure high performance.
- Process Optimisation: Identify and implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Customer Experience: Oversee customer service operations, ensuring prompt and professional responses to queries.
- Warehouse & Logistics Coordination: Ensure stock control, order processing, and dispatch processes run smoothly.
- Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Take a proactive approach to resolving operational challenges.
- KPI & Performance Management: Track key metrics and implement strategies to meet business objectives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior management and other departments to align operations with business goals.
Who we are looking for:
- Proven experience in operations, team leadership, or business management, ideally within a small to medium-sized company.
- Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and inspire a team.
- Hands-on approach with a problem-solving mindset and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to streamline processes and introduce efficiency measures.
- Organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities.
- Experience in customer service and warehouse/logistics operations is beneficial.
