Role: Senior Logistics Coordinator

Location: Letchworth

Hours: 9-5:30pm, Monday to Friday, but must be flexible to work additional overtime hours if required

Salary: £32,500

Duties of a Senior Logistics Coordinator

  • Producing despatch labels and delivery notes
  • Producing packing lists to assist the packing department
  • Liaise with the Production and Client Services teams regarding despatch timings, keeping all parties updated as required
  • Booking the relevant vehicles for all overnight parcel carriers
  • Continually progress chase to check that vehicles are arriving for collection and delivery on time
  • Accurately produce POD reports and within the agreed time frame where SLAs are applicable
  • Update the CODI and MIS with delivery confirmation and cost information at the earliest possible time.
  • Produce Purchase Orders to suppliers
  • Accurately produce POD reports at the earliest possible, or within the agreed time frame where SLAs are applicable
  • To be first point of contact in the absence of the Logistics Manager

 

What we would like from you:

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines
  • Proficient administrative experience
  • Proven attention to detail
  • Microsoft office experience including excel
  • Previous experience of management information systems.
