About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our client’s dynamic team in the automotive sector. In this role, you will be working with SolidWorks, designing key components such as electrical boxes for vehicles, including radios, engine systems, and private control units.
While this role is based on designing and improving automotive parts, candidates will also have opportunities to learn and develop in various areas, particularly automation.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing mechanical components for automotive systems.

  • Creating detailed designs using SolidWorks.

  • Collaborating with the team to develop and refine machine systems, electrical boxes, and engine components.

  • Contributing to the ongoing development of new control units for the automotive industry.

  • Working within a small team to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification.

Key Requirements:

  • Mechanical engineering background.

  • SolidWorks proficiency and experience with design software.

  • Strong work ethic and automation knowledge (experience would be a plus).

  • Able to work effectively as part of a small team.

  • Willingness to learn and grow in the design engineering field.

  • Experience with electrical components would be an advantage.
