Our client specialises in residential projects and are seeking a skilled professional with previous experience in surveying and estimating, who is degree-qualified and able to carry out a range of essential duties on residential sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of budgets and estimates for residential construction projects
  • Handling sub-contract enquiries and negotiations
  • Measurement and valuation of interim and final accounts
  • Ensuring cost control and profitability of projects
  • Collaborating with project teams to achieve financial objectives
  • Providing accurate and timely financial reports
  • Managing variations and change orders effectively
  • Ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience in a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator role, with a focus on residential projects
  • Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Proficiency in industry-standard surveying software and tools
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
