Bennett and Game have the pleasure of representing a prestigious regional house developer based in the Stevenage area who are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team. Having been established for almost a century, our client has a long standing and reputable name within the industry, so is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a company with firm growth plans in the coming years. As a family run business our client is genuinely proud of their product, and are widely considered one of the premium house builders from both a specification and build quality perspective in the Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire counties.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor who secures this position will be responsible for monitoring managing project financials on high end residential builds ensuring jobs are completed on budget while looking after the companies' financial interests. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be based from the office in the Stevenage area with sites being 1 hour from there.

The most suitable candidate will come from a developer or contractor background and will be seeking the next step within their career.

Senior Quantity Surveyor Job Overview
  • Prepare and manage tender, contract documents, and project budgets.
  • Analyse and control project costs, perform risk management, and address cost variances.
  • Oversee subcontractor relationships, including procurement, accounts, and quality control.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor costs, subcontractor performance, and project quality.
