Trainee Quantity Surveyor

A family owned, award winning principle contractor in Hertfordshire is looking for a Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

If you are A Level qualified and aspire to train as a Quantity Surveyor while pursuing a Degree in Quantity Surveyor on a day release basis, or if you are currently pursuing a construction qualification and seeking a role to complement your studies, this opportunity could be ideal for you.

Established in 2004, our client specialises in design, managing, and constructing high-quality construction projects across both public and private sectors.
They have a proven track record in a range of sectors including Commercial & Industrial, Health, Education, Housing, and Retail.

They have a loyal/stable workforce and are financially secure. They get lots of repeat business (roughly 75% of their work is repeat business)They have a full order book for this year and work secured for next year

The Role – Trainee Quantity Surveyor

As a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, you will be assisting on a range of commercial schemes, ranging from education, local authority, commercial, health care, commercial to residential conversions up to circa £6m

You will benefit by working close to the construction process, and will be trained by a highly skilled Commercial Manager, who has been with the company for a number of years

The right person: Trainee Quantity Surveyor

You will be qualified to A Level standard
You will have a C or above in Maths.
You will have a keen interest in building a career in Quantity Surveyor
You will be a confident communicator
You will have strong computer skills

Salary negotiable plus 25 days holiday
