We are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join our dynamic team, teaching KS3, KS4, and KS5 students. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for education and a deep understanding of all sciences. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape young minds in a supportive and thriving environment.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver engaging and informative lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5 Maths curriculum.
  • Take responsibility for the progress of all classes taught.
  • Plan, prepare, and present lessons that cater to the needs of the whole ability range within their class.
  • Maintain discipline in accordance with the school’s procedures and encourage good practice with regard to punctuality, behaviour, standards of work, and homework.
  • Use a range of appropriate strategies and follow school policies for teaching, behaviour management, and classroom management.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
  • Participate in arrangements for examinations and assessments.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of the school’s policies, practices, and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE.
  • Strong background in teaching Maths, with secondary experience.
  • Ability to create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Experience in planning, marking, and managing a full timetable.
  • Capable of managing a form group.
