We are currently recruiting for a full-time role (37.5 hours a week) for initially a 2-month minimum contract which offers hybrid work with 2 days working from home.
The ideal candidate will have social housing experience and have experience in mutual exchanges and conducting viewings.
Duties will include:
- Responsible for overseeing the allocation and letting of rented accommodation, including general needs social housing, market rent and other rented tenure
- Assessing nominations to ensure they meet allocations policy
- Carrying out home visits and viewings of void properties with housing applicants
- Providing a range of appropriate housing advice to applicants and existing residents
- Monitoring the return of shared ownership sales
- Processing applications to mutual exchange tenancies in line with current legislation and internal policy
- Responsible for estate management and working closely with partner agencies
- Proactively manage and resolve cases of nuisance and anti-social behaviour
- Deal with all aspects of our resident’s tenancy and lease agreements
- Where necessary attend court to present cases on behalf of organisation and defend breaches of tenancy cases to achieve the best outcome
To be considered for this role candidates must hold a basic DBS within 3 years and have a full driving license with access to their own vehicle
