SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the clinical and teaching teams to deliver high-quality learning experiences.
- Assist with teaching activities, ensuring students are engaged and supported in their learning.
- Provide personal care assistance to students, as needed.
- Use your initiative to develop and enhance individual learning opportunities for students.
- Support children with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs in achieving their full potential.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience working with children or young people (desired but not essential).
- A caring, enthusiastic, and proactive individual with a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs.
- A strong team player who can collaborate effectively with teaching staff, support staff, and other professionals.
- A Psychology or Criminology degree or similar qualification is advantageous.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service, or the willingness to obtain one.
- The ability to commute to Letchworth Garden City or the local area.
