The Role

 

Our client is seeking a number of Capex Project Managers to join our Global Engineering team in Leven. This role is responsible for the execution of capital expenditure (Capex) projects, from concept through to successful handover, ensuring timely delivery, budget compliance, and above all, safety.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Safe Execution of Projects – Deliver projects with zero harm, prioritising safety at all times.
  • Project Delivery – Ensure projects are completed on time, in full, and within budget, meeting cash management targets.
  • Governance & Compliance – Ensure all solutions comply with Diageo’s governance and legal standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement – Work collaboratively across functions to ensure seamless integration of projects into existing operations.
  • Supplier & Contractor Management – Hold suppliers and stakeholders accountable for delivery expectations.
  • Continuous Improvement – Drive efficiency, value, and innovation throughout project execution.

 

What We're Looking For

 

  • Educational Background: A university degree in Engineering (or progressing towards professional status). Equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Project Management Expertise: Proven experience in managing Capex projects, ideally within Food & Beverage or FMCG industries.
  • Technical Specialisation: We welcome applications from candidates with expertise in:
  • Packaging Engineering – 3-5 years of experience with packaging equipment.
  • Electrical Engineering – Strong knowledge of LV/HV distribution systems.
  • Civil Engineering – Experience in general building works, including excavations, roofing, and remedial repairs.
  • Key Skills: Strong commercial and negotiation skills, analytical problem-solving abilities, facilitation and coaching experience, and the ability to work independently.
