• Preparing personal tax returns for a diverse portfolio, including sole traders, partnerships, company directors, and rental income earners
• Reviewing corporation tax returns prepared by the accounts department
• Managing a portfolio of clients, providing tax planning and compliance services
• Preparing capital gains tax computations for self-assessment returns and completing 60-day CGT declarations to HMRC
• Preparing forms P11D, P11D(b), PSA calculations, ERS, and EMI returns
• Assisting with ad hoc work on capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and estate matters
• Liaising with HMRC on personal tax matters
• Maintaining and updating company databases to monitor client progress
• Working directly with clients, Partners, and other departments to gather required information

• ATT qualification or be qualified by experience
• 3-4 years of tax and accounting experience, ideally in practice
• Strong knowledge of tax compliance and planning
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook; experience with CCH software is advantageous
• Excellent organisational skills and a proactive problem-solving attitude
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure

• £38,000 to £48,000 per annum
