Role Responsibilities- Preparing personal tax returns for a diverse portfolio, including sole traders, partnerships, company directors, and rental income earners
- Reviewing corporation tax returns prepared by the accounts department
- Managing a portfolio of clients, providing tax planning and compliance services
- Preparing capital gains tax computations for self-assessment returns and completing 60-day CGT declarations to HMRC
- Preparing forms P11D, P11D(b), PSA calculations, ERS, and EMI returns
- Assisting with ad hoc work on capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and estate matters
- Liaising with HMRC on personal tax matters
- Maintaining and updating company databases to monitor client progress
- Working directly with clients, Partners, and other departments to gather required information

Candidate Requirements- ATT qualification or be qualified by experience
- 3-4 years of tax and accounting experience, ideally in practice
- Strong knowledge of tax compliance and planning
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook; experience with CCH software is advantageous
- Excellent organisational skills and a proactive problem-solving attitude
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure
- £38,000 to £48,000 per annum
- Full time, permanent role
