Our client is seeking a talented Project Architect to join their established Architecture and Interior design practice based in Lewes. The successful Project Architect will collaborate with a team working on a variety of small to large scale projects within the hospitality and residential sectors. Our client work on a variety of projects, covering different project values and sizes. Hospitality experience is an advantage for the successful Project Architect however experience in other sectors can also be considered.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Project Architect, to join an employee focussed company which offers great career progression opportunities. Our client uses Vectorworks on a day-to-day basis however our client is happy to consider Project Architects who have used AutoCAD and Revit. The successful Project Architect will mentor and review colleagues work, as well as take initiative within projects.

Project Architect Position Remuneration
  • Competitive salary (£40,000 - £50,000 DOE)

Project Architect Position Overview
  • Keep within budgetary requirements
  • Prepare and produce technical bid and tender documents
  • Occasional site visits
  • Work on a range of projects from small sale £1 Million projects to large scale £250 Million projects
  • Design / work on projects within a variety of sectors
  • Develop planning applications and construction detailing
  • Coordinate tender and construction design packages
  • Submission of planning / building regs
  • Produce Technical details
  • Provide technical advice for user/site specifications when required to do so
  • Work as part of a team small design/technical team
Project Architect Position Requirements
  • Based within a commutable distance of Lewes
  • Motivated individual
  • Ability to work well as part of a design / technical team
  • Previous experience in hotel projects is an advantage
  • ARB or RIBA Qualified Architect
  • Ability to help mentor colleagues
  • Excellent technical standard
