Assistant Ecologist
Location: Sussex

The Role:
- Conduct regional site work, with travel and occasional overnight stays.
- Evening and weekend work required (expenses covered).
- Six-month fixed-term contract with the potential for a permanent role.

Assistant Ecologist Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A full UK driving licence.
- A degree in ecology or a related field.
- Fieldwork experience, such as reptile, great crested newt, or bat surveys.
Desirable Skills:
While not essential, the following are highly valued:
- Holding species licences or working towards them.
- Experience in ecological report writing.
- Membership or progress toward membership with the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM).
