Reed Brighton is delighted to be working alongside a rapidly growing property management company in Sussex who are seeking a Property Manager to join their vibrant team who will be based in the Brighton office and who Ideally will have AIPRM or equivalent experience.

This role is ideal for someone who has proven block management experience and thrives on delivering exceptional service in portfolio management.

Day to day of the role:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Freeholders, Leaseholders, contractors, and landlords, building and nurturing key relationships.
  • Manage the company’s property portfolio effectively, addressing any property-related queries promptly.
  • Maintain streamlined administrative processes, ensuring accurate record-keeping and a well-organised system.
  • Oversee insurance matters, including documentation and claims management with precision.
  • Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety legislation, policies, fire risk assessments, and reports, maintaining high standards.
  • Strive to meet and exceed service level agreement targets, maximising property assets for stakeholders.
  • Develop a reasonable understanding of mechanical, technical, and general building issues to make informed decisions and provide insights.
  • Participate in meetings, including AGMs, provide minutes, and follow up on action items to ensure smooth operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • AIPRM or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in block property management or a similar role.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative abilities.
  • Knowledge of insurance matters and claims handling.
  • Familiarity with Health and Safety compliance in property management.
  • Commitment to delivering high service standards and exceeding service level agreements.
  • Technical understanding of building issues is desirable.
  • Ability to attend and contribute to meetings, including taking and following up on minutes.
