The Foundation have a great opportunity for someone to join their team and use their skills to oversee their Children’s Homes, ensuring their services meet the highest standards.

The Foundation is dedicated to delivering exceptional care and support to children and young people living with multiple physical, medical and communication needs.

The Role

Acting as Registered Manager and Safeguarding Lead, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of residential bungalows. You’ll lead a dedicated team to deliver outstanding care, maintain regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Oversight: Manage the day-to-day operations of the children’s bungalows, ensuring care services meet required standards set by OFSTED.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate an operational team, providing supervision and professional development.
  • Compliance & Safeguarding: Ensure compliance with safeguarding protocols and statutory requirements, working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Resource Management: Optimise operational systems and ensure resources are efficiently allocated.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with families, colleagues, and external partners to ensure a collaborative approach to care.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven experience in managing residential services, ideally in children’s or specialist care settings.
  • Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with a focus on compliance and care standards.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of OFSTED standards and regulations.
  • Qualities: Compassionate, resilient, and resourceful, with a passion for leading a high-performing team.
