The Requirements:
- Experience: Demonstrable experience in managing residential care services, preferably within children's or specialist care settings.
- Qualifications: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or a similar qualification).
- Skills: Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication abilities, with a commitment to maintaining high care standards and regulatory compliance.
- Knowledge: Thorough understanding of OFSTED regulations and industry standards.
- Personal Qualities: Compassionate, resilient, and proactive, with a strong passion for leading teams and delivering exceptional care.
The Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Oversee the daily running of the children's bungalows, ensuring that care services meet the standards set by OFSTED.
- Team Leadership: Lead and inspire the operational team, providing guidance, supervision, and development opportunities.
- Safeguarding & Compliance: Ensure adherence to safeguarding policies and statutory regulations, working closely with various teams to maintain a safe and compliant environment.
- Resource Allocation: Manage operational systems efficiently, ensuring that resources are optimally utilized to support care provision.
- Collaborative Engagement: Build strong working relationships with families, colleagues, and external organisations to ensure integrated and comprehensive care.
