I am looking for engaging and passionate individuals who are looking to start a career as a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic school to support children and young people, aged 5 - 11 with complex SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs) and Autism / ASC (trauma & attachment).

You must have a passion for helping and caring for others aswell as have a selfless spirit when it comes to the development of young people. This position is full time with a possibility of a permanent contract.

This role is

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be fun, patient, kind, calm and nurturing with a dedication to your responsibility. You will engage the children in your care with creative tasks that will aid their learning and development. An enthusiastic and patient approach is essential!

This is a great opportunity to receive some on-the-job training such as Makaton and PECS. Alot of these skills are transferable and will ensure you have a long career in the education sector.
