Our client is looking for local people who are interested in a career in electronics manufacturing. It woudl be beneficial if you have worked in electrical or mechancial manufacturing and have a genuine interest in a long term career within manufacturing. Our client can provide some training and will be open to people considering a career change - the role does require close work electrical assembly so please read the job description below.Â
The role also has the opportunity to be temporary to permanent.Â
• Attention to detail.• Good hand skills and eyesight. • Competence in hand assembly work.• Experience in the handling of electronic assemblies (ESD, EOS, safe handling).- ESSENTIAL • Understanding of relevant procedures, standards, engineering and technical documentation.• Experience of using common test equipment. • Preferred - Experience of soldering and rework of soldering related faults.• Preferred - IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies.• Basic Knowledge of electronic component types and polarities.• Knowledge of company systems and policies.• A thorough awareness of any safety issues.• Computer literate
