My client is recruiting a Network Engineer for their large internal team, the role will include working from home.

Key Responsibilities

You will be involved in:

• Maintaining WAN, LAN, Wireless LAN connectivity between locations
• Deploy and configure SD WAN Edge router and security firewalls.
• Participate in, where appropriate in the designs and implementation of various network engagements.
• Monitor and maintain the health and general condition of networks environment.
• Deliver fault isolation and troubleshooting on network systems.
• Assist in network hardware and software configuration standards.
• Collaborate within the network team to develop recommendations concerning equipment life cycle and replacement.
• Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures on a daily basis
• Create and maintain detailed network documentation and procedures
  

Skills & Experience

• CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or with similar qualifications.
• Experience in supporting a network environment.
• Good knowledge of key networking protocols.
• Knowledge of WAN implementation and monitoring.
• Knowledge of LAN, Wi-Fi networks.
• Troubleshooting network performance using multiple diagnostic and monitoring tools to analyse traffic and provide capacity planning and remediation.
• Ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge to the current environment.
• Willingness to participate in a dynamic team.
