We are recruiting an ambitious and dynamic sales professional to join a sales team based at the Gold Cliff Garden Centre near Lewes. We are looking for a candidate who has experience in face to face selling, ideally from the furniture, high value retail, luxury travel or the kitchen & Bathroom design sector.

About the company:

Crane are an established family business with over 50 years’ experience designing and manufacturing luxury garden buildings. With the proposal of new showrooms opening across the SE, they are on the lookout for ambitious, creative, and collaborative people to join their sales team.

Sales Design Consultants come from a variety of backgrounds. Previous sales experience is highly desirable; however a confident, service driven can-do attitude and a willingness to learn is a must.

The role of a Sales Consultant:

As a confident and outgoing person, you will use your consultative sales approach and service skills to guide customers through the design and purchase process. Using the full training that you will be given; you'll have the opportunity to showcase your creative skills by creating custom layouts and visualizations that bring the clients' vision of thier ultimate Garden room to life.

As an Ideal candidate you will demonstrate:

  • Excellent communication and listening skills with the ability to build relationships
  • Sales & Service driven, with a creative and inspiring personality
  • Able to discover and help overcome objections and close sales
  • Highly organised with and eye for detail
  • Enthusiasm to become an expert in the full product range
  • Experience using a CRM system would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given
