As a Risk Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our second line of defence during a transformative period for our organisation. This position offers the opportunity to enhance our risk management framework and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders.
Day-to-day of the role:- Enhance Risk Management: Maintain, embed, and enhance the risk management framework (RMF).
- Support Risk Owners: Assist in articulating, scoring risks, and identifying mitigating actions.
- Engage with Local Risk Leaders: Participate in meetings, respond to training requests, and share risk management information.
- Build Relationships: Develop strong connections with senior stakeholders and key business areas.
- Promote Risk Appetite: Advocate for the Risk Appetite Statement (RAS) and integrate it into business processes.
- Enhance Risk Culture: Identify improvement areas and opportunities to strengthen our risk culture.
- General Support: Provide support to the Enterprise Risk Manager and Head of Risk & Assurance as needed.
- Proven experience in providing risk oversight and using risk management frameworks.
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (MS Office/PowerPoint/Excel).
- Experience in mentoring and training colleagues in risk management practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Desirable: IRM Certificate or Diploma, or an industry-recognised risk qualification.
