Job Overview:We are seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist with experience in a general rehabilitation setting to join the team at Newhaven. This is a rewarding opportunity to support patients with diverse rehabilitation needs and make a real impact on their recovery journey. Part-time hours can be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a designated caseload of patients, ensuring effective prioritization and time management.

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.

  • Utilize validated outcome measures to evaluate treatment effectiveness.

  • Collaborate with patients, carers, and the multidisciplinary team to set and achieve rehabilitation goals.

  • Provide guidance and supervision to junior staff and students as required.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy and current HCPC registration.

  • Proven experience as an Occupational Therapist in a general rehabilitation setting.

  • Strong assessment and intervention skills, with the ability to manage a varied caseload.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
