Description

Duties will include:
Phone cover, providing excellent customer service to calls from parents, schools and external professionals.
Processing Education, Health and Care Needs applications within statutory and internal deadlines whilst adhering to strict GDPR policies. This will involve information gathering to ensure that all professionals who have been involved in the applicants educational career to date are contacted to request their input as part of the application process.
Processing and recording incoming annual review paperwork from childrens schools who have an Education, Health and Care Plan in place.
Bundle preparation of received paperwork to be submitted to the Local Authority for a decision on whether a needs assessment/EHCP agreement is required

Essential experience includes:
Excellent customer service skills who remain calm when dealing with distressed or angry callers.
Good IT skills and ability to learn new packages/processes
GDPR knowledge

Desired experience includes:
Previous experience of using Liquid Logic
Good diary management skills

Please note this is a hybrid role.
It is expected that for the first two weeks in post that the successful candidate will attend the office based in County Hall 5 days per week whilst undertaking training with their peers.
Once they have received full training, they will then work 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. This role will not be suitable to anyone wishing to work remotely. (Some negotiation can be made around this, however a minimum presence in the office of 2 days per week is required due the nature and demands of the service.)
