Reed Education are seeking a PE Teacher with QTS or QTLS to join a secondary school in Lewes on a supply basis. This role is to start ASAP and will be on an ongoing basis. There is also a possibility of the role becoming permanent. 

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Plan, organise, and deliver engaging PE lessons aligned with the curriculum.
  • Motivate students to participate actively in all physical activities.
  • Monitor and assess students’ progress and development.
  • Ensure all activities are conducted safely and in accordance with school policies.
  • Collaborate with other teaching staff to integrate physical education with other school programmes.
  • Maintain and manage all physical education equipment and resources.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a PE Teacher or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of the physical education curriculum and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication and motivational skills.
  • Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities to enjoy and participate in physical activities.
  • Enhanced DBS check.
