After School Club Assistant

Are you looking for a flexible yet rewarding working enviroment?

We are seeking an entusiastic,creative and caringAfter School Club Assistant to work part-time afterschool hours. You will engage with children ranging from preschool age to the end of primary school, planning and leading games and activities to keep them entertained and stimulated.

This school is happy and successfull with genuinely lovely children, supportive parents with a supportive and welcoming team.

The role entails welcoming and registering the children, implementing activities and games inside and outside, supporting children to prepare toast and drinks, and maintaining the resources and the organisation of the club room.

Times: 15:15- 17:15 or

15:00- 18:00

Days: Monday-Friday (Term-Time Only)

Responsibilities as an After School Club Assistant:

  • Greeting and registering the children.
  • Organising and facilitating indoor and outdoor activities and games.
  • Assisting children with preparing snacks and drinks.
  • Ensuring the resources and the club room are well-maintained and organised.
  • To work closely with the other after school care assistants.
  • Be aware of current school behaviour and safeguarding polices.
  • Be familiar with First Aid procedures.

Requirements as an After School Club Assistant:

  • Communicate effectively with pupils, colleagues and parents.
  • Have a nurturing and calm presence.
  • Proactive approach and use initiative.
  • Be able to develop strong and positive relationships with children.
