What you'll do:

Contribute to a young person’s care plan and risk assessment, their review and implementation, monitoring progress and celebrating positive outcomes.

  • Maintain and promote residential care to high levels of professionalism expected by the home, and by Ofsted.
  • Ensure that good quality records are maintained as required with supervision and advice from team leads and Managers.
  • Contribute to the educational and social development of each young person and assist in the implementation of Individual Care Plans and Individual Education Plans.
  • Meet the emotional and physical needs of our young people and maximize opportunities for their development.
  • Form effective relationships with young people, their families (if appropriate) and external agencies.
  • Be a positive Mentor to the young people

Who We're Looking For

  • A genuine passion to help nurture young people with complex trauma.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent or a willingness to undergo this qualification once employed.
  • Full, UK driving license.
  • All candidates must be over the age of 22

Pay:

£34,450.00-£36,250 per year dependent on experience and qualification's

Hours

Hours of work are 1000-2300 Sleep in with an average of 42 hours per week plus sleep ins, working a five week rolling rota pattern of 2 days on, 3 days off which will include some weekends.
