Panoramic Associates are delighted to be exclusively partnering with Chailey Heritage Foundation who are looking for an experienced Head of Social Care Operations to lead and support their children's and adults' services.

Reporting directly to the Director of Social Care, you will play a critical role in ensuring their services meet the highest standards of care and compliance with CQC and OFSTED regulations. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a unique and dynamic environment, supporting both their Service Managers and teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and oversight for both children's and adults' services, ensuring high-quality care delivery across all operational areas.
  • Role model strong and effective relationship building with all stakeholders within and
    outside of the Foundation.
  • Work closely with and provide support to Service Managers, helping them maintain operational excellence and compliance with OFSTED and CQC standards.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and develop care services, ensuring that they consistently meet regulatory requirements and exceed standards in quality, safety, and service delivery.
  • Lead on safeguarding practices across services, ensuring robust policies and procedures are in place and adhered to.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external partners to drive continuous improvement and enhance service outcomes.
  • Manage resources and staffing effectively to ensure optimal care is delivered while maintaining regulatory and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Proven leadership experience in social care operations, with significant experience in both children's and adults' services.
  • A strong working knowledge of OFSTED and CQC regulations and the ability to manage services in line with these standards.
  • Experience in managing and supporting teams, with the ability to lead, mentor, and develop senior staff.
  • Exceptional organisational, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to balance strategic oversight with operational detail.
  • A commitment to the highest standards of care and safeguarding practices.
  • Relevant professional qualifications in social care management (Level 5 or equivalent).
