- Salary: Paid to scale We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join a co-educational Independent school, set in a beautiful 18th-century manor house in the Sussex countryside. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of students primarily with Autism and/or Dyslexia.
- Teach Science to KS3 & KS4 students with ASD and/or Dyslexia.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that accommodate the specific learning needs of students.
- Assess and record students' progress and provide grades and feedback.
- Maintain a stimulating and supportive learning environment.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance teaching practices and learning experiences.
- Participate in school meetings and events.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Recent experience teaching the Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Science curriculum.
- Previous experience teaching children with ASD and/or Dyslexia.
- Strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with learning differences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to drive with access to a vehicle due to the rural location of the school.
