Financial Controller Part-Time | c.£60,000 FTE | Leyland | Flexible Working Environment | Excellent Culture and BenefitsAxon Moore is working with a growing SME in Chorley to appoint a Financial Controller who can grow with them as the business grows. They have a strong core business with a loyal client base who have worked with them over a long period of time. Recently they have diversified into new markets, allowing them to service their existing clients with more services, as well giving them exposure to new clients that they haven't traditionally touched. They are keen to grow but in an organic and sustainable fashion, keeping quality customer service at the heart of what they do.The finance function is clean, efficient and highly optimised. They have an automated set of commercial MI managed by an internal analyst and they receive great support from their external accountants and an experienced NED. The Financial Controller vacancy is therefore pitched at a qualified, competent candidate, who is happy to join on a part-time basis to assist the Managing Director, and ideally someone who can step into a full time role within a couple of years as the business begins to scale. Ideally the candidate would work 4 days a week but they can work these hours how they see fit.The candidate must be qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) and be able to hit the ground running with the technical running of the finance function. Previous experience of working in an SME or directly for an entrepreneurial MD will be key.
