Hours: 08:30 - 17:00, Monday - Friday
Location: Leyland
Type: Temporary to Permanent
Salary: 13.50 - 14.50 per hour

My client is a friendly, family-run business based in Leyland, seeking a dedicated Finance Administrator to join their team. This is a temporary to permanent position, offering a competitive hourly rate. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functionality of the finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including recording and organising invoices, expenses, and transactions.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Assist in processing invoices, payments, and receivables, ensuring timely and accurate processing and follow-up on outstanding invoices.
Bank Reconciliation: Monitor financial transactions and reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and budgets, compiling financial data for internal and external stakeholders.
Payroll Processing: Support payroll processing by gathering relevant data, inputting information accurately, and ensuring timely payroll processing.
Administrative Duties: Perform various administrative tasks such as managing spreadsheets, data entry, and handling correspondence related to financial matters.
Customer and Vendor Communication: Respond to inquiries from clients, vendors, and internal staff regarding financial transactions and records, clarifying financial matters and resolving issues as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven background in a similar finance or administrative role.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
