7.5 Tonne Driver/Labourer

We are working with a small business in Leyland that has been established for several years who are looking for a 7.5 tonne driver/labourer.

Duties

• Safely operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle to transport goods and materials to designated locations.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
• Plan routes and navigate through traffic to ensure timely delivery.
• Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries.
• Inspect the vehicle for any maintenance or safety issues before and after each trip.
• Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Loading and off-Loading vehicles
• General site labouring at fabrication facility when required between trips.
• loading and offloading vehicle

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with appropriate category for operating a 7.5-tonne vehicle.
• CPC Licence
• Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and safe transportation of goods.
• Counterbalance Forklift Truck experience
